Built with heavy duty construction with deep bale rack that accepts both large round or large square bales. Top rails are 1-1/2" square tube. Uprights are constructed of 3/16" channel. Safety bars are welded on ends to protect animals. This feeder is also designed to reduce waste. Bottom panels are formed steel with welded angle floor flanges. The floor flanges are pre-drilled to accept wooden floor (not included). The floor reduces feed waste by 25% or more and is easily cleaned. Finished with a zinc rich undercoat and TGIC polyester powder topcoat.
Hay bale feeder panels easily latch together to form shape and size of choice. Available in 4', 5', 6', 8', and 10' panels.
All welded construction with 1/8" formed steel channel and 1" schedule 40 pipe. 14 gauge sheet metal around bottom and flange on bottom of floor reduces hay loss. Stabilizing feet prevent sinking into wet ground. Super tough finish protects against rust, corrosion, chipping and resists acid and chemicals while staying cleaner longer.
